The Menlo College Women’s Business Society was founded with the purpose of creating a community for those who have decided to venture into the male dominated world of business. The Society’s mission is to promote professionalism and create long lasting camaraderie while also giving back to the community. Each semester, we hold at least one business, one social, and one philanthropic event. Earlier this year, the Society hosted two panel discussions where female faculty spoke and answered questions about their amazing experiences in the business world. Some other Society events include: Black Tie Event, Alumni Connection Car Show, Taco Tuesday, Western Wednesday, Habitat for Humanity, Earth Day Beach Clean Up, and Resume/Cover Letter/Interview Workshops. Overall, the Women’s Business Society aims to be a place where members can expand their skills and friendships within the community.
